Plot[]
He came to the Pill Tower for revenge against Xiao Yan for his son's death he was rebuffed by Qiu Ling who told him he doesn't have the prestige to do want he wants in the Pill Tower. He created a stage to battle Xiao Yan and issued a challenge to him. Xiao Yan appeared and accepted his challenge.[2] Xiao Yan fought against Yi Chen on the stage and stacked 3 seals together (Open Mountain, Sea Flipping and Overturning Land Seals) to create the great God Seal Skill to defeat him. Once he was defeated Xiao Yan took his storage ring as a reward.[3][4] After Xiao Yan defeated him Chen Tian Nan realized he must not let Xiao Yan live and attacked him. Xiao Yan called out his Sky Demon Puppet and it blocked his attack. Little Fairy Doctor and Yao Tian Huo stepped in and Chen Tian Nan realized he didn't have the strength to fight this group. As he was debating what to do Xuan Yi appeared and told him if this continues he will make an enemy of the Pill Tower. He left, but still threatened Xiao Yan[5]
He traveled to the tomb of an ancient Dou Sheng seeking treasure along with numerous other cultivators. When Xiao Yan was trying to snatch a Dou Technique scroll he interfered with him. Chen Tian Nan then attacked Xiao Yan, but Xiao Yan's puppet blocked the attack. After Xiao Yan retrieved the scroll he told Chen Tian Nan "Old Bastard, since you have already attacked, there is no need for you to return!". The puppet fought against him and he realized that he would end up losing if this continued, but Xiao Yan had no intention of letting him flee. Xiao Yan used the Sky Burying Seal to attack Chen Tian Nan from behind and severely injured him. Once again he tried to flee and as he turned his back to flee the puppet punched his fist through his back killing him.[6][1]

Xiao Yan[]
Even though Xiao Yan only crippled his son, he blamed Xiao Yan for his death. He ultimately loses his life to Xiao Yan as a result of provoking him.
Chen Xian[]
He is Chen Tian Nan's son. He used his connections to cause problems for Xiao Yan with the Hall of Souls. He wanted to kill Xiao Yan but ended up being crippled by him and was then killed by the Hall of Souls. Chen Tian Nan blames Xiao Yan for his death and tries to find trouble with him.
